Following the delivery of the Covid business grants and Welcome Back Fund support there’s evidence that more could be done to help businesses fully embrace social media.
This is supported by data that highlights the percentage of businesses present on and actively using social media and the gap between businesses and the end consumer. To bridge the gap, independent businesses need to harness the power of social media to engage with current and new audiences.
The Council is looking to extend its offer of existing business support to include social media training.
