North Kesteven District Council has uploaded three new tiles, each outlining a new project which could be made possible with UK Shared Prosperity Fund monies if approved in the investment plan put forward to Government. There’s an overview of each project below. Please click on the links for more information and to share your feedback.
Events programme
Through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we would like to build on the success of RiverLight Festival and support the enhancement of established events, create new ones and formalise a calendar which engages the whole community in a variety of activities. Share your views on what you would like to see incorporated into RiverLight and future wider events programmes here.
Social media training
Using the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we are looking to introduce social media training to SMEs in North Kesteven. If you own or run a business in the District, please indicate which areas of social media you would like the training to focus on by clicking here.
Handley monument
We are looking to redesign the public space around Handley monument to improve its setting, with an overall aim to make the area around the monument more appealing to pedestrians and enhance both the setting of the monument and its connection with the local population. Please share your thoughts on how the area around the monument and its history can be enhanced here.
North Kesteven District Council has uploaded a project tile on its Commonplace website.
New directional signs highlighting more key amenities and attractions across Sleaford town centre are to be installed – and we need your input on them.
This expanded signage will better reflect all that Sleaford town centre offers, by highlighting heritage assets, shopping, leisure, attractions and other key aspects more effectively and across a wider area.
You can have your say on the new wayfinding signs by completing the survey here.
